The DROSS 63A Automatic Voltage Protector keeps your AC, refrigerator, water pump and other sensitive appliances safe from voltage fluctuations, over-current and power surges. When the supply goes outside the safe range, it cuts the power to your appliances. When the supply is normal again, it reconnects automatically. No need to reset it every time.

How to install

1. Switch OFF the main supply (main MCB) before starting.
2. Fix the protector on the DIN rail in your distribution box, after the main MCB.
3. Connect the incoming supply to the input terminals and the appliance load to the output terminals, as marked on the unit.
4. Tighten all terminals firmly and close the box.
5. Switch ON the supply and set the voltage and current limits using the buttons on the display.

Installation should be done by a licensed electrician.

Wiring connections (Single Phase 230V AC)

Terminal layout: IN (left) = Input Phase (L), IN (right) = Input Neutral (N), OUT (left) = Output Phase (L), OUT (right) = Output Neutral (N).

Wiring steps:

1. Turn OFF the main MCB before wiring.
2. Connect incoming supply (L & N) to an input MCB (63A, 2-pole recommended).
3. From the input MCB, wire phase and neutral into the protector's IN (upper) terminals
4. Wire the OUT (lower) terminals to an output MCB (63A, 2-pole, recommended/optional).
5. From the output MCB, connect onward to your load / distribution board (home wiring).
6. For 63A loads, use 10 sq.mm copper wire and tighten all terminal screws firmly. Recommended for a licensed electrician to install.
